i was in jail

yeah..u read it right..i was in prison but not as a prisoner but as a visitor...i have spent the Republic Day morning in the central jail, hyderbad, amidst the prisoners and witnessed the flag-hoisting and the prisoners singing the National Anthem with true patriotism...
Thanks to Dr Nagesh who gave me this opportunity...

coming to the context..i always wanted to know how it is like to be in a prison...why people say we r jailed...and complain that their offices...hostels...or houses r like prisons...does that mean that all of them have been to prisons and experienced? i dont think so...then why do we use that phrase....
so this 'morning' gave answers to all my questions...

i entered into the open prison initially..i came to know that the inmates r free to move and do agriculture and farming...cool..they r free to some extent...but they should be there life long...that means till death...

then i went to the closed prison...the high security check revealed half of the story what it is like....the prisoners r inside their rooms...a room completely closed....they dont know what outside world is like...they dont know what an I Max theater is like...they dont know what a coffee shop is like....they have no clue about the happenings at pubs and even what their families r doing....its pity..its sad..its sympathetic...its bad....
but again if we search for the answer..then its their own deed...they r punished...they did a crime...an act which was done due to the momentous anger that sprawled.....

when asked how his life is after 3 yrs being in a prison ...a prisoner says....i have lost the important part of my life...i havenot seen my daughters growing up..i have missed the sweet moments...now when i go back home...i see my kids losing the affection of a father....all this happened just because i couldnot control my anger...had i been cool for 30 seconds..my life would have been otherwise...

my eyes became misty...i realised how bad anger is..it can change the lives..destroy ones own freedom....demolish the bonds in a family...you lose everything...and you literally die....

those few hours taught me the lessons for lifetime...we never realise how free we are...how much liberty we have...but still we have qualms for everything...we continue complaining about our lives...

cant we re-think about it and rediscover how happy we are...how free we are...

Freedom is just an illusion.

An IMax and a coffee shop is the first things that comes to your mind when you think about whats good in your life, i mean, don't take it otherwise, but that's SHALLOW.

All human beings are prisoners trapped in their body. They can`t change anything. They can`t add or delete a hair of their body. They can not change their colour,ht,wt,color of hair, emotions or desires. We inherit this status. To come out of it God must end this soul`s journey through this body.
Lord Krishna was born a prisoner but came out of it.
