chak de india"ns"!!!

i wanted to write this blog long back... but may be; i was bit lazy to put the words....but an incident in the morning and a pic shown by santy have triggered my enthusiasm and i am penning the words now...

i have always felt lucky to have a nice family, a good environment where i grew up and a nice land to learn new things in life.. i have so much freedom in my land that i never faced any sort of hindrance from doing anything...i love my nation and also the freedom and liberty that i have...uffff i think i am becoming lil bit patriotic..

यहाँ पे ऐसी चीज़े होती है जिन्हे देख कर लगता है कि यह मेरा देश है। दिल खुश हो जाता है और नाज़ से बोलता है मेरा भारत महान। selling everything on roads, pan shops at the corners of the road, religious speeches at the nukkads, celebrations during every success, let it be cricket or a movie release or some star wedding...india is full of fun and enthusiasm. there is great energy in all the citizens...

the recent victory of team india in twenty 20 has shown it once again. i was on the road when the match was going on- imagine the highly floated and taken road was empty and all the cricket lovers were glued to their TVs. suddenly there were balsts--oh my god....i was scared..but thankfully they were the crackers blown as a symbol of joy over the victory. from a 3year old to corporate CEO, every one enjoys the moments in our nation.

this picture of my friend made me realise how we indians lead a bindaas life. look at the pic, the batsman is an MBA from a reputed management institute, the place the match is being held is the management institute. and look at the pitch, it is the lounge of hostel and dustbin is the stump(s). wow, this is life and i have always enjoyed it. come what may, we indians never lose our spirit and show the world we are always ahead. after all, it is the freedom that we have here.

hobby day!!!!!!

haaaaaa...strecth ur hands, angadayi leke, prayer karke...u look at the time and see it is still 7.30am. uffff afterall it is a holiday...no hurry to get up and rush to the office just to get some scoldings from your boss.....
so u change your position on your bed and try to sleep again...the warmth of the bedsheet is too good to miss it even for a single moment....your mind is relaxed by the thought that there is no responsibility today........
after taking a nap again..you try to get up..roam around and then get fresh.....have coffee..and i bet this would be the tastiest coffee of the week, beating the ones from barista and ccd. the newspaper lying on the table seems to be a nice company and you feel like peeking into the world......even maggi seems to be very yummy....taking bath wont be in the agenda.....
i always wait for this day........
and mostly sundays are my favourites..........well i simply dust all my books, my cd player and ofcourse my wardrobe...my favourite cds gain some life......the characters in my book come back into action and the suspense goes on.

i shall call this day a HOBBY DAY...i come back to the normal me from the daily mechanical life....
spenindg my time on my hobbies makes me charge for the whole week...wriitng blogs, or watching the missed movies of the month, grroming myself and redecorating the house....all are fun. the homely atmosphere is what we all crave for.

the day is long enough to enjoy it to the fullest. a movie if time permits...and a small hangout with friends...gossiping with the loved ones watching favourite programme on Tv is all time fun. shaam ko chatpata chat in the nearby chat bahandar will add some flavour to the day....a simple supper outisde with family or friends and a milk shake at the end is perfect......
ooooooooo........i would like to wait for such day....let it come just once a week....but its enough to recharge myself......
a hobby day is what i wait for.....

my heart bleeds....

my heart bleeds..
my heart bleeds..

when i see beggars torn out in their worst..
when i see babies being used as baits for alms..

my heart bleeds..
my heart bleeds..

when i see people being hurt in accidents..
when i see people losing their loves on roads

my heart bleeds..
my heart bleeds..

when bomb blasts kill innocent lives..
when kidnaps make families apart

my heart bleeds..
my heart bleeds..

when i see orphans in orphanages..
when i see dying destitutes left alone in oldage homes..

my heart bleeds..
my heart bleeds..

when i see families getting sepearted..
when i see parents losing their children..

my heart bleeds..
my heart bleeds..

when i see animals being killed horribly..
when i see fellow creatures not getting food..

my heart bleeds..
my heart bleeds..

when i see pain in the world
when i see tears in eyes..

my heart bleeds..
my heart bleeds..

but i know i cant do anything..except pray for the peace of the world....

i love my caste......

i know..after seeing this eye catching one liner...u would try to find out what my caste is...and then try to find out why i am in favour of my caste....and then if am against something here..prepare mentally to throw bombs on me...hold on- hold on...

i hate talking about religions and castes which divide humans and are good for nothing.
the what am i talking about? ofcourse caste again...CONFUSED??????

am talking about a newly forming caste...that is development sector.....we are young professionals who are dynamic, enthu, energetic and whatever......we have similar likings, we know the pros and cons of being in the same field....
we deal with humans...we understand the difficulties of the suffering and the downtrodden.
we eat with the poorest of the poor.
travel to their places. muddy roads are runways for us....jhopad pattis are our bungalows....dal chawal is our cuisine......
and above all the affection shown by them is our reward....
oooooo..i feel guys from this sector are too cool and quite matured.....and gals are bindaas......
as far as i have seen...even a kurta pyjama with a cotton jholi makes us look perfect. the ethnic jewellery and cool sandals are our identity. we are too comfortable in hindi. learning languages is our hobby..

one of my friends from this sector says getting married to the guys of this sector helps lot.....
now i feel couples from same field will have good frequency...so i call it a different caste..well this word is borrowed by me from the same friend.....

cool word isn't it...a different caste....

whose voice can represent India....

hmm...finally after venting out my anger, frustration, feeliings, emotions and bla bla bla..am writing something in cool mood. i must say this blog is on behalf of my cute cousin "hara" who requested me to write this.

she is an ardent fan of Emon and Amit.....oops..they r not some bollywood heroes..yeah u got me right..they are our own guys next door who are rocking in Indian idol.

i have watched a couple of performances. i liked parleen and pooja and now they r out...prashant is good to some extent,,he has the energy to compete...but lacks confidence..thats what i saw in most of the episodes...

ankita is too good as a singer..she aslo deserves to be Indian idol..but the fact that she should be the winner just because we need a girl as an Indian idol is bad...though am a woman, i am not feminsitic. i am not gender biased. i too believe in equal opportunity...so what all we need is indian idol..not some male or female winner....a prominent singer who can represent India on world platform....

now coming to the topic...my cousin feels amit and emon are capable to be the winners..
amit...hmm well...i feel he deserves to be voted...
emon is also a potential singer and has the energy to win...
so guys...gear up to see amit or emon as our Indian idols....oops....if not both of them..atleast one of them....
what do you say?

what am i?

many say...am sweet..
many say am rude and dont have feelings...
some say i understand others very well....
some say i believe in other...uffffffff
what am i?
i am a virgo and feel these lines best suit me.....
hmmm...do read these lines...so that u can understand what i am exactly.....and ya..do let me know..if it is right or not
----------------------

but i must say..linda good man understood me well....hmm..do read her write up on virgo to know what i am exactly..

Virgo is the only zodiacal sign represented by a female. It is sometimes thought of as a potentially creative girl, delicately lovely; sometimes as a somewhat older woman, intelligent but rather pedantic and spinsterish.

2) preciseness, refinement, fastidious love of cleanliness, hygiene and good order, conventionality and aristocratic attitude of reserve. observant, shrewd, critically inclined, judicious, patient, practical supporters of the status quo, and tend toward conservatism in all departments of life. On the surface they are emotionally cold, and sometimes this goes deeper, for their habit of suppressing their natural kindness may in the end cause it to atrophy, with the result that they shrink from committing themselves to friendship, make few relationships, and those they do make they are careful to keep superficial.

3) But the outward lack of feeling may, in some individuals born under this sign, conceal too much emotion, to which they are afraid of giving way because they do not trust others, nor do they have confidence in themselves and their judgments.

4) In marriage they can be genuinely affectionate, making good spouses and parents, but their love making is a perfection of technique rather than the expression of desire, They are intellectually enquiring, methodical and logical, studious and teachable. They combine mental ingenuity with the ability to produce a clear analysis of the most complicated problems.

5) They have an excellent eye for detail but they may be so meticulous that they neglect larger issues. Also, although they are realists, they may slow down projects by being too exact.
They are practical with their hands, good technicians and have genuine inventive talents.

6) Thoroughness, hard work and conscientiousness are their hallmarks, and they are such perfectionists that, if things go wrong, they are easily discouraged. Because of their ability to see every angle of a many-sided question, they are unhappy with abstract theorizing.

7) Language especially they use correctly, clearly, consciously and formally, as grammarians and etymologists rather than for literary interests, yet they are likely to have a good memory for apt quotations.

my heart is bleeding...

switch on the TV. but plsss not any news channel....i have completely stopped watching news channels......i cant face the reality of the world..may be i have lost the capacity to digest the horrible facts of people being killed in terrorist attacks and other incidents....

yesterday i was watching the TV with family and suddenly this news item of hyderabad bomb blast flashed....we got shocked to know...but luckily no deaths were reported initially..i was praying that..news of deaths shudnt be flashed.....

and after 10 minutes...reports started pouring in....the shots of dead bodies were pathetic and horrifying...people were being identified with torch lights...

what is happening out there? what are these bombs??...where did they come from? why were civilians who went to watch the musical fountains with families were targeted? what harm did they do?

GOD...it is really horrible...how can one think of killing another...forget about enemity...
what harm did the engineering students do to the bombers?..
what harm did the viistors from other places did?

i know no one has answers for these question...it is not the question of fate or fortune....but it is the question of humanity.....
my tears are flowing.....my heart is bleeding.....i am no one to the dead persons...

now imagine the situation of a mother whose son went out to watch the fun of musical fountains..
imagine the situation of a husband whose wife and children went to out to enjoy the saturday evening.....
imagine the situation of a mother whose son was expected for the dinner.....

i know..no one can stop these cruel deeds...but still one can stop targetting civilians who have nothing to do with the terrorism....who have no idea of bombs and bombers...who have their families and are the sole bread earners for many hungry stomachs.....
who are the lives of many other lives....

May all souls rest in peace...
May God punish the brutal killers...

Is this the right way?

am proud to be an Indian...mujhe jitna freedom hai is desh me..aur kisi ko kaha?
this year is something special. its the 60th anniversary of Indian Independence...wow..its been 60 years....hmm..websites, emails, text messages, radion channels, television, everywhere, it is the celebration of freedom..

seems, the three vibrant colours of Indian flag are enough to fill hues in the world...its been a happy day for me..except for one thing...

since morning, i am glued to the TV.....telugu movies are rocking the channels and i was geared up to watch all the movies without a break...i was eagerly watching my favourite patriotic telugu movie, khadgam, in one of the TV channels...and suddenly this commercial appears for toothpastes and toilet soaps...

but this day..they are airing the National Anthem sung by legendary singers of India. it is great to watch them singing national anthem in different beats.. am proud to have such great singers, musicians and creative brains to picturise national anthem so beautifully...

but is national anthem worth watching in TV every 30 min eating food or sleeping on the floor, cleaning house or taking rest on bean bag???????? NO. when i saw the national anthem being aired, i stood up with respect, but to the sickest part, the Tv channel has been airing it....

Please...... it is our NATIONAL ANTHEM and not some movie song which can be aired whenever wanted...sick to see people advertising their company at the end and claiming it to be the voice of one billion people. We do respect our nation and also everything related to it..

but i personally feel that national anthem is something precious and is not supposed to be aired whenever wanted....

these are my personal views and i strongly condemn this act....if anyone has any objection to it..am sorry...

beauty undiscovered

its been a long time since i travelled by day time trains...my recent trip from chattisgarh to andhra during day time made me discover some beautifl locales...the route from CG to AP crosses the borders of orissa. the weather on the day of journey was awesome...and i have enjoyed every bit of it...the black clouds, green trees with dew drops on the leaves, the wet soils and the fragrance..the cool breeze touching the cheeks, hands and hair and giving a soothing feeling in the body.....the rain drops playing hide and seek.....wow....it was a lifetime experience...the orissa line was simply mind blowing...the green hills with thick vegetation are a feast for eyes..

the virgin locales are conveying a message of beauty. i cudnt digest the fact that these places are still undiscovered..but again felt happy for not being discovered...

the potential hill stations...can be eco friendly places for hangout and learnings.....i wish i could stay there for a while with my loved ones....
