the lady in the pink dress is dark in complexion and is rejected a job in some organisation..(i wonder which organisatiuon looks at the skin complexion and offers a job?) she goes out..apply some xyz face cream and comes back to the same organization...she is now beautiful and is given the same job (again-again...which company would have the job open for 4-6 weeks..i hope i would also get some offer like that)...well coming to the context.. most of the people get carried away by such ads and buy those senseless face creams and experiment with their skin....nowawadys..even men are not left by these ads..they r also being provided by some new brands promising them a fair complexion in 6-8 weeks.
i met this guy after a long time...we finished our college and got placed in the same organisation...we were on vacation for more than a month before joining the job.....after some 6-7 weeks.. both of us along with 2 more girls met in our company and were happy by the reunion and were quite excited to do job in the same company..yeah..4 of us were good friends in the college too.
during our discussion, i noticed a drastic change in the guy’s face but still i couldn’t trace any. out of curiosity i put fwd my feelings and told him that i was sensing some major change in his face..he threw a sarcastic smile and discontinued the conversation...unable to resist the temptation, i told him that i felt he turned dark and his complexion is awful...
knowing that i noticed it...he replied... “yar woh ladke logo ka fairnesss cream hai na..use apply kiya aur bilkul bahar hi nahi gaya ghar se...dar tha ki bahar jaane se sun-tan ho jayega..socha 6 hafto me gora ban jaaunga...lekin afsos...pehle se kaala ho gaya hu...ab kya karuu..kisiko muh dikhane layak nahi bacha.”
poor my friend...i could not stop laughing at his innocence and the way he believed in that stupid ad...
i still remember the incident whenever we meet and we laugh heart fully...
