bought the head ache...urrrggggg

yes you got it right...I no... We bought the headache yesterday..and the cost of the headache is just Rs 100/ head. after trying for nearly a couple of weeks, standing in queues and quitting affter we lost patience, our gang decided to watch the much hyped and successfully running (???) so called blockbuster DASAVATARAM....

i still remember the day when my sis called me up in an exciting sound just to inform me how she was overwhelmed after watching movie and given a chance she would watch again in the consecutive show...i was like..oh lady i missed it but would defintely watch it...

and yesterday night was the time when our gang finally decided that we would go back to our places only after watching this movie..fially we bought tickets for 100 each and enetred the movie theater. by the time we entered, kamal was on the screen and for nearly 10 minutes the scenes were breathe taking and the music was senidng shivers in our bodies..i was wow..i missed this fun all these days...

and then started the ASLI magic....slowly there were more and more Kamals...we had no clue why so many of them and we were completely in a mindset that may be all these were interlinked...ok...let us check it...!!!!!

and slowly i realised that i wasnt understanding anything and it was out of my mind that i am watching a much hyped movie which is getting all the possible exclamations of this world..
and the time reached when i was eagerly waiting for the interval...it wasnt coming but some unknown characters and loud sound were simply annoying me from all around...and we were totally pulling ourselves from the seats..finally, the much awaited break has come and we came out...all of us were in silence and dint speak except staring at each other...and then finally kicked bobby for his idea of watching this movie on this beautiful evening. i was very adamant that i would get out of the theatre but the rest of the gang was curious to know what would happen...so i had to accept the forceful torture for 90 more min.

and finally the movie was over and we came out...just to curse everything...

why does kamal at this age and stage of his career, wants to prove his talent? it is a universal fact that Kamal is extremely talented and i was quite dissapointed over the movie. somehow, i felt this is one of the worst movies i have ever watched and for a man of his calibre i feel this is very low..

I hope someone would take care of this note and also the fact that the audience is not fools to watch whatever is being screened. The world is changing man...realise!!!!!!!

Note: THIS IS MY PERSONAL OPINION

fun on island!!!!

AMisha and Hrithik are left on island, all alone, had no food and had nothing to wear...they stay there..eventually fall in love and come back to the city...Wow...its so nice to see and imagine the same with oneself..so..in that heat..for sometime i always wrote in slambooks as "being at lonely islands" is my favourite holiday spot (as if i have ever been there!!! huh...teenage affect)....

so when i was going to phuket, i imagined myself in the skin of ameesha ofcourse sans hrithik and thought that i would be spending my time on some island and would have fun. finally, i landed in phuket (the flight was terrible though ajju enjoyed the turbulance and the roller coaster ride) and came out of the airport and saw huge traffic, buildings, shopping malls, and conrete jungle..is this an island? then why were hrithink and ameesha alone? why are ram charan and neha alone in CHiruta (chiruta is a latest telugu movie where the hero and heroine enjoy the same freedom as knph guys)...

what am i doing here in another city? why am i with ajju? (i know ajju will kill me now) ...

we were on patong beach and ajju was quite excited but i wasnt- as i felt vizag beach was much similar and may be even more beautiful..anyways...patong has its own beauty

...me and ajju did some parasailing stints and i admit...i had whale of time doing it...

then the second day, we went for island hopping, we snorkelled, and what not....ajju was constatntly claiming that she cannot swim...but surprise..suprise...she swam continuosly for 1 hour and did some shopping offshore while snorkelling...she came back to the boat with loads of white sand and sea shells, corals and some dead animals (she says they r for souvenir..may god save her friends)......all the islands were crowded, equally polluted, densely populated....it was not at all knph scene...guys dont get cheated and carried away by the movies...

and yeah...i would definitely say that of you are out of such imagination and see the reality, then phuket is a place worth watching once in life and obviously with the loved ones (i hope u r getting my point here..lol)...

and the proud moment for me and ajju was ..when we realised that we were the only TWO GIRLS who visited the island...rest all of the visitors were either in families, couples or teams of guys....
Hurray...we did it..thanks ajju...
So do visit phuket...and let me know.... ;-)

my food for 2 weeks

Here I would like to reveal some facts about being VEGAN....I dont even eat cakes, as they have eggs in it. I always feel proud of myself as I am a pure veggie and in a way am saving the animal kind. i was very happy to visit Bangkok but guess what... I knew in hand that it would be difficult for me to have proper food. I suffered from food crisis when I was in Colombo. I know how hard it is to find some vegetarian food...forget about idli and Dosa...

So, I was quite smart enough to buy ready to eat food and ready to cook noodles. I got some stuff for myself and packed the whole luggage with the food items. My mom suggested me to take some rice flakes as they compensate Rice...thanks Mom...
before boarding the flight, I asked my dad to take me to the nearest Restaurant which is called "Walk and Eaat" (yes it is Eaat but not Eat), ordered Sambar Idli and also had nice dosa. I knew it would be my meal of satisfaction for the next couple of weeks.

My struggle to supress my apetite started from the first day itself. I had no other option except for boiled cabbage, baby corn and some green leaves...sometimes the veg pizza in the nearest Pizza company (the pizza was 115 bucks..thats tooooo costly).....

i drank lots of coke, sprite, coconut water and fruit juices...i had given complete rest to my tastebuds for 2 weeks.
I went to a departmental store to buy ready to make noodles and finally spotted one...but to my suprise...i discovered a small photo of piglet smiling happily...i just laughed at myself and the poor pig and left the noodle cup there itself.

well, whenever I went to any restaurant, I should make the point clear that I need only veg food. in Thai language this is how I used to converse with them...

me: Food?? noodles?? noodles?
he/ She: yes...noodles???
me: vegetarian????
He: vegtarian?
me: No chicken, no goat, no pork, no beef, no mushroom, No egg....
He: oh ok..only rice...boiled rice..
me: yes yes
He: ok ok...just a moment please...

so this is how I used to tell them that i need vegetarian food. even in our hotel we were provided with grand buffet serving 50+ items for breakfast and only pieces of fruit, juices and some bread and butter for me.

In lunch I could manage some white rice with aloo masala..yes I had the previlege to have aloo masala for 10 days with white rice. and in the dinner, Maha gave me some pickel (which i gifted her from India) and I bought some white rice and yogurt. i ended up finishing my packed ready to eat food in Bangkok and left almost nothing for Phuket.

and yes last but not the least, in the flight -way back home, the thai airways had no vegetarian food. They were offering me some boiled vegetable and I screamed at my pitch "nahi yeh nahi ho sakta"

Thanks to my sister who packed sambar rice for me in the hostel

and yes..on the last day.
I had my Breakfast in Phuket, Lunch in Bangkok and Dinner in Hyderabad...wow!!!!!!!!!!

days in BKK

hey guys ..i know its been such a long time since i wrote something. the trip to bangkok was too hectic yet funfilled. i enjoyed my stay there but i suffered from homesickness during the last days. thanks to my family and friends who assured me and helped me come over it.

to start with -Day 1 in BKK was cool. I landed at around 6am and slept till afternoon in the room and wokeup just to realise that i had no lunch to eat. i cooked the noodles that i took with me and had it on the very first day. that was the moment when my struggle for food started in the land of elephants.

Day by day passed away, all I did was meetings, classes and shopping...and what i bought was all roadside stuff. i am serious..there is lot of fun in buying that road side stuff..pick up something, bargain and own it...wow...its such an excitement. the first week ended miraculouosly without giving any hints. it was a funfilled week where the entire team was cool and we had loads of fun. though my struggle to fill my stomach continued all the days. its all pork pork and pork...and sometimes u get steak, chicken, mutton and lot of sea food. for vegans like me, its just boiled cabbage, baby corn and some green leaves....

the 1st sunday flew off in Jatujak (weekend market) and I had bought lots of stuff....just to realise that i ended up buying nothing...yes i mean it...

then came the 2nd week, where i am the facilitator...wow to facilitate the training programme for youngleaders of south asia...sounds so exciting..right? infact it is... the second week also sped away without any notice....the week was very energetic...

hey i forgot to tell u onething here..i got many wows and cool apreciations for my traditional attire during the cultural evening where i cladded myself in Pochampally sari....well in a way I stole the show...hehehe

the last evening, was really sad, departing from fellows who stood by you for a whole week is very painful. but it has to happen. so we all tried to end the week with some nice bollywood steps..hehe...and yes we did it...

then the 2nd sunday....it was time to pack luggage and fly to phuket...
